Local information is passed on to make members aware of what is happening in the area. The Speaker for the afternoon follows with their particular subject. Our Speaker Secretary books Speakers on a wide variety of subjects aiming to please everyone though the year. Christmas we always have a good sing of carols, etc. with mince pies, of course. We have a raffle every meeting and twice a year hold a Bring and Buy. Day trips are arranged to interesting places and also meals. The aim of the Club is to provide an afternoon of friendship and contact with other ladies, fun, interesting news and Speakers. We finish the meeting with light refreshments and a chance to have a “natter”. Anyone wishing to have further information please call the Secretary (Pat Beesley) on 0121 556 1695.
